Pupil Leadership
Pupil Leadership comprises of students in the position to influence, motivate, and guide others towards the achievement of a goal. Pupil leadership roles help shape student character and education that takes place within our school. By providing pupils with such responsibilities, we are enabling the leaders of the future, rethinking education, and helping tomorrow’s citizens flourish. At Marlborough Primary School we believe pupils should be at the centre of learning and should have an important voice within the school. Pupils are given opportunities to have an input into decisions and make suggestions to improve their school, as well as being more aware of the wider community.
Leadership is integral to lifelong learning and all students should have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop leadership skills.
Marlborough Primary School leaders model high expectations by:
- Modelling positive behaviour to other students.
- Positively influence, motivate, and guide others toward achievement of a goal
- Being responsible for school resources and equipment
- Behaving in a safe and responsible manner
- Respect themselves, other members of the school community and the school environment.
- Actively participate in school activities
- Wear full uniform and leadership badges to school everyday
- Do not disrupt learning and make the most of educational opportunities
- Challenge themselves
- Model the core values and the 3 visible consistencies at all times.
